  • The FDA has approved the first direct generic competitor to EpiPen.
  • The CDC reported that drug overdoses killed more than 72,000 people in the United States last year, an increase of about 10% from 2016.
  • An environmental research and advocacy group released a report that found traces of a herbicide in Cheerios, Quaker Oats, and other breakfast foods.
