  • Longitudinal study in Korea suggests that smoking is associated with an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
  • New study concludes that vaccines against HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis are unlikely unless more money is committed to their development.

Northwestern

  • Large clinical trial involving Northwestern Medicine shows that diet and exercise help overweight and obese women limit weight gain during pregnancy.
